A 5mile/8km run loop around central Birmingham to see all the main tourist sites.
NEXT RUN: Saturday 6 October 2018 at 08:30 (no run on Sat 29 Sep) from outside main entrance to Birmingham Council House. Run lasts approx 1 hour. Reserve your space on Eventbrite here.
Walk Run Cycle host this on a Saturday morning at 08:30am starting from just outside the Council House entrance. It’s FREE to attend and your run guide is an England Athletics qualified Run Leader. It’s the perfect way for energetic visitors to see the highlights of Birmingham City Centre in a quick way – though we won’t go too fast or leave anyone behind! Expect the run to take around 1 hour at a gentle pace. The run will take you past the Council House, Colmore Business District, the Cathedral, Victorian shopping arcades, the Law Courts, Aston University, Millennium Point, Selfridges, the Bull Ring, New Street, Grand Central, the Mailbox, the canals, Brindley Place, Symphony Hall, and the new Library.
Please sign up to the week you intend to run on Eventbrite so we have an idea of numbers (no walk-ups possible as we may alter the start point and need to contact participants). Or follow this route on our app in your own time if you can’t make it to one of our led runs on a Saturday morning. Check out our Facebook page for any last minute updates.
