Edinburgh Cycles

Our cycle routes follow National Cycle Route 75 and 1 as far as possible as well as well-paved paths that are mostly traffic-free. Cycle to centuries-old castles, through the Meadows, and along Portobello Beach. Ride from Duddingston Loch with Arthur’s Seat and Holyrood Park in the background through Newcraighill, once a coal mining area, past Queen Margaret University, and the River Esk. Start or end your trip by watching the sunrise or sunset on Calton Hill, with monuments of its own and a 360 view of the city’s landmarks such as Scott Monument, St Gile’s Cathedral, Arthur’s Seat, and Holyrood Palace. Let us guide you through this wonderful city, while you take in the historic sites and perhaps snap a photo here and there.
