We have a great selection of cycle routes around Newcastle for you, all planned on routes with good surfaces and not packed with cars. You’ll cycle along canal and river towpaths, resurfaced disused railway lines, bike routes through country parks as well as leafy quiet tree-lined roads. Routes include alongside the River Tyne out into the countryside and to the Coast at Whitley Bay, the Ouseburn Valley, Town Moor and Jesmond Dene and of course the Angel of the North!
